Salt+Light Interview Video

27 May 2011

Host Pedro Guevara Mann sits with three members of the popular British Boys’ Group, Libera, during their first Canadian tour. The internationally acclaimed choir is known for its unique, angelic sound and their many TV appearances and performances in the UK and the US, including their participation at the Papal Mass with Pope Benedict XVI at Yankee Stadium during his visit to the US.

The statement above is from Salt+Light website. I believe everyone here already knew about this interview. But, maybe only few of us have seen it. During Canada Tour Libera has some interviews with radio, television, and many more. One of them is Salt+Light TV. The good thing is finally they uploading a video of the interview. Three of Libera boys were interviewed. They are Liam, Kavana, and Freddie. Ah, that is quite interesting conversation between them. I enjoy it so much.

Oh yeah, FYI, they (S+L) sale the DVD copy of this interview. You can order a DVD for standard price is $22.95 (roughly £14), excluded shipment cost. The DVD contents is exactly the same as on the online video, running time 24'06''. No extra of any kind. If you want to grab one copy, please order it via S+L. Visit their website to get more details. (Thank you fan_de_loK for this information. Very helpful.)

By the way, I've ever posted several pictures from this interview before. You can click here.

Happy Bornday, Jakob!

Venus in Eros

15 May 2011

Thank you Furby from Libera Dreams for sharing this information to us.
Libera boys are starring a movie, called Venus in Eros, directed by Takako IMAI, a British production (RME Films). The cast includes Freddie Ingles, Stefan Leadbeater, Kavana Crossley, James Mordaunt, Daniel Fontannaz, Barney Lindsell, Ralph Skan and Cassius O'Connell-White. They playing the role of angels (Excellent! Because, to me, they are indeed ANGELS!). You can check the cast, crew, etc at IMBD.

The soundtrack includes 'Ave Virgo', 'Air', 'Touch the Sky', 'Panis Angelicus', and 'How Shall I Sing That Majesty'. Wow, GREAT choices. Totally ANGELIC.

If you want to get more information about the movie, go to the official website (for the movie, I mean), click here. They have some pictures of the boys in their gallery. We can see the boys in there. They wearing their white robes. For me, it feels they play their roles as themselves. OH MY JOSH! They really are playing the roles in a movie! Hmmm, wow, I can't believe it.

The movie premiere is to take place in Cannes for Cannes Festival Film 2011. The 64th annual Cannes Film Festival is being held from May 11 to May 22, 2011. Here is the schedule for Venus in Eros premiere.
13th May 22:30 PALAIS I
15th May 10:00 PALAIS C
17th May 12:00 PALAIS C
19th May 22:30 PALAIS I
The movie is presented in three parts, in the Short Film Category.
Chapter 1 (28 min)
Chapter 2 (29 min)
Chapter 3 (25 min)

Ah, GREAT, GREAT, GREEEEAAAT!!! I absolutely excited with this news. Hmmm, is it possible to watch that movie? Ahhhh, I really want to watch it. I want to see the boys as angels, pleeeeaaase.

In my opinion, actually it's a good opportunity for Libera to open another way to spread their music widely. You know they used Libera's song for soundtrack, even the boys for the cast. That is a good thing, isn't it? However, I'm afraid it's hard to get to see this movie, unless if you go to Cannes. But, I still hope we'll get the chance to see it.

Anyway, according to this website the same director plans another project for 2012 called "The Boys in a Dream" described as "a beautiful and emotional boys choir's story". Sniff, sniff. Smell something here.

Calling All USA Libera Fans!

14 May 2011

I got mail from Andrea, an intern at EMI Classics USA. This is a quote from that mail:
EMI is doing some research on the Libera fans in the US. We are trying to find out WHO is listening to Libera in the US and how to best reach them in order for the group and the record company to be most involved with the fans. This is primarily FOR the fans themself - in order to share news and updates with them about Libera. I have created a survey about Libera for fans in the US.

Well, if you are a fan from USA or know fan from there, share the link below to take part the survey. It is good for Libera and all of fans, especially in USA. So, SPREAD WORDS!!!

CHALLENGE: The Power of Back

10 May 2011

Okay, it is TOTALLY just for FUN. I challenge you, all Libera HUGE fans, to a game. I called it, THE POWER OF BACK.
How to play:
It is really easy. In this game you must identify the boys from the back. Yeah, I'll give you some pictures that captured the boys from the back. Identify them and mention their names. So, if you called yourself as their HUGE fans, you'll recognize them even from their shining back. No need to worry if you can't recognize all the boys in the picture, you just need to mention the boy that you know. That's it! Put your answer on my comment box. Are you ready, guys?

Have fun. Anyway, good luck and enjoy the game! :) Click on the picture to enlarge it.

Love it sooo much. Finally we can enjoy the rest of this video. Again, thank you Libera for uploading it on Youtube. WOW! Oh My Josh, this is AWESOME!

Song of Life-Official Music Video

2 May 2011

Wow, guys, Libera and EMI Japan just uploaded their latest music video for Song of Life. Okay, although it is not full version. Oh still, I'm very very happy. Because I have been waiting for it all the time. I knew it that they would make a video for this song, just like the other songs for Japanese movie or TV drama. YAY! Auuuw, thank you, Libera. Thank you so much. I can't wait for the full version.

I wonder why they only posted half the video. Hmmm, I smell something here. It is just my opinion, but I think probably there will be a new album? OK, OK, calm down! Just a thought. I do not know anything. But, I hope so. If there will be new album, for sure they will make another tour for promotional. Okay, I am too EXCITED right now! (lol). It is JUST pure my thought. As usual, we'll wait and see. Right, guys?

Here is this for you, guys.

The video has taste of Deep Peace and Time video. Hmmm, you know, the boys in white (for this time it's not robes, but the hoodies. Love it.), the nature background. But, definitely BEAUTIFUL as usual. You can feel a strong energy from combination of the song and the video. What a lovely combination. It will make your day beautiful as well as the song.

I think, sunrise in the morning describes the beginning of new hope. It fits perfectly to the lyrics. "There's a whisper in the dark, As a new life comes to be". If this is referred to Japan, ahh everything is perfect. After earthquake that caused damage, they need to build a hope. New hope for stand up and wake up from the nightmare. I hope it will entertain everybody in Japan. Not only for Japan, but also everyone who needs encouragement to make a better life.

At 0:32 Mini James accompanies Ralph in the mini chorus. I told you before, Ralph's voice is absolutely beautiful. But, James's voice is also sweet and innocent. Plus, his cute and adorable face. Hahaha. :D

Then all the boys joining in the chorus. Frankly, I don't really like the formation. Because you can't see the entire boys, especially the boys at the back line. But, I love to see Dylan, Jude, Eoghan, and Barney in this video. I wonder, when did Libera make the video? I guess maybe around Epsom concert until Canada tour. Consider to the present of newbies and the hair-cut of Libera boys.

Okay, I looove this part. We can see a close up of Mini Ben's face. Oh, Mini Ben, you never fails to make me SMILE. Your big-warm smile, OMG! I love it. Why, you grew up so fast. I still love you, (Mini) Ben.

But, the HAPPIEST thing EVER is Josh. Josh was there. Hooray! JOSH WAS THERE! It makes me CRAZY and HAPPY. Oh My Josh, I spotted him twice. No, three times actually, at 1:06, 1:50, and 1:52. But, the second one is blur. Oh, poor. I don't care. The important thing  is Josh was there. YAYYYY!!!!!!!!  It made my day. I can sleep peacefully now, I think I will have a sweet dream tonight. Seems Josh cuts his hair. It is a bit shorter than the last time I saw him. Well, I hope Libera will release the full version as soon as possible. Can't wait.

At 1:06 you can see Josh at the left side
At 1:52 it's better. You can see him clearly. Love you, Josh. I missed you like crazy.

More Pictures from Canada Tour

Libera added some new pictures to their Gallery on the official website. But, I only choose the pictures when they have free time. Click here to see the rest of pictures.

The boys in front of the church

Liam, JB, and Mini Ben (I prefer call him like that). Love them much.

Seems the miniature of CN Tower still taller than Jakob, Matthew-Jansen, and  Dylan

Moose met the Canadian Moose, Murray.

Ahh, I get it, so this is the serious climbing tree.
Hahaha, Barney, I wonder what are you looking at? Home?
I also love the picture of Luke in the tree. Click here.

Jakob, Ralph, Barney, Mini James, and Jude at the hotel. Look at the circumstances.
It must be a hotel. A really good hotel.

Jude playing hockey. Simulated games, I believe, as they said in the blog.
