Spring Tour Pictures And BBC Interview

9 May 2013

Libera posted some great pictures of their recent visit in Taiwan and Korea on their Gallery. We can clearly see that the boys had tons of fun for sure. :) I love tour pictures. They are always fun! Here are some of my faves.
Libera in concert
Cool lighting. Cool formation. Cool song.

A very cute close-up of Ciaran.
Libera boys in Taiwan
They look so bright in this pic. Is it just me or does the wind effect make them look so cute?
AHAHA. That is all I can say.
Libera boys in the concert  Another awesome shot of Libera boys on stage. The mini boys look....soo mini!
Interesting picture of the gang of da big boys. Yes, they are the oldest now!

  I call it a model-like pose. ;)
Libera boys wearing Korean traditional clothes
Seriously I love these boys. Very funny kids! And hey Carlos, you picked out the cutest outfit!

The Spring Tour 2013 is almost over. There is only one concert left, Guildford. And I believe it would be the most fantastic concert of all with 41 boys. Yes, you read it right. It's like the biggest group that they've ever brought to the stage. Ever. For all of you the concert-goers, you all are very very lucky. Yes, I'll admit, I'm SO jealous. But, here is my truly genuine "Enjoy!". Despite my jealousy, I'm very happy for you guys and very excited for what surprise they'll bring "us" this time. :)

Ok, I almost forgot to post the thing I actually wanted to share. That's what jealousy did to you. Haha. Here is a very nice interview of Michael, Ben, and Mr.Prizeman with BBC Surrey. Make sure to check it out.

The Moon Represents My Heart

16 Mar 2013

Libera singing The Moon Represents My Heart

You may have heard that Libera will be singing a Chinese song in their upcoming concerts. The song is a quite popular love-song called The Moon Represents My Heart (月亮代表我的心). You can hear the original version here. Today Artemis Art shared a video of Taiwanese TV news introducing Libera. In the video, it plays some parts of music video of the song. And yes, it's Libera's version! Oh-my-god, they sing it so beautifully. And when it came to Michael's solo, aw my heart just melted away. :')

Another video here.
I'm positive that they will definitely capture many hearts of Taiwanese by singing this song. I hope their Spring Tour 2013 in Asia will be a huge success. And oh yeah, I can't wait to hear the entire song and watch the full clip! Also if it's possible, I want to see the life version of it as well. Who's with me? :D

Carita de Angel

20 Jan 2013

Carita de Angel is a TV kid series (or telenovela) from Mexico. It is about a little girl named Dulce Maria that after the death of her mother, his father sending her to a boarding school. Since then she is taken care of by Sisters in that school - her father even ends up falling in love with one of the nuns. Dulce Maria has a secret place in school where she always meets her Angel Mom. Saweet! Back then, this show was really popular in my country. I can say it was Indonesian family's favourite show at the time.

Sooo..what's up with this show and Libera? Apparently, Sanctus (1999) was used as the backsound in this show, especially in the scene when she meets her mom. In the video above you can hear the song played in the background. This is very interesting, at least to me. Because I used to watch this series when I was kid and never skipped it. Hahaha. But I didn't know it was Libera's song. Heck, I didn't even know Libera existed at the time. I wonder if anyone here, especially Indonesian and Mexican fans, has recognized it before?

This topic is originally posted by an Indonesian fan in Libera Dreams Forum. If you want to share your Carita de Angel story with others, you can find the post here.

Adiós. SIPIRILI!!! :D

Travelling Along River Thames - Libera

17 Jul 2012

Pardon me! I totally forgot to put the link here in the earlier.

Better late than never! Yeah..I know, I'm so yesterday. But well this is a rare and very precious video of Libera. I don't want to miss keeping it on my blog too. First of all, a very big thanks to Sunflower who captures this video and shares it with us. Okay...where should I begin?

The video is a part of TV show in Japan entitled Travelling Along River Thames. It starts with a view of City of London and you can hear Song of Life as backsound. Then it shows the inside of All Saints Church in Welst Dulwich. Then some little (not all, though) figures appeared on my screen. Yayy...my boys! And the biggest surprise of all is JOSH WAS THERE! JOSH WAS THERE! Yeah..I know I'm crazy! Sorry for being such a hysterical fangirl.

There are 14 boys involved in the show: Michael M, Jakub, Cassius, Eoghan, Matthew RA, Kavana, Carlos, Luke, Henry, Matthew M, Jude, Dylan, Isaac, Michael UR. Oh I almost forgot Josh 'the conductor'!! Yes, he is. What a sweet surprise!

The next scene is too adorable. Two big brothers who are so responsible, doing their robe-job. Yep, I’m talking about Kavana and Carlos. Carlos is checking out the name on the list while Kavana is handing out the robe to each boy.  They are the men. ;)

O-m-g…why is Isaac extremely cute? How is this even possible? He’s so asking for attention in this entire video. And he has done it successfully in a cute and funny way. I.LOVE.HIM! Look at him when he's trying to wear his robe but he's wearing it backwards, even the hood covers his face. He's just smiling to his silliness. Awwww...such a precious moment it is.

Libera boys are just normal boys. This video has pointed it out to us perfectly. Like normal boys, they like...
Reading books, anime…
 Fooling around with friends…
Yep..sooo normal!
But what make them so special is sometimes they wear the white-robe which make them look like a bunch of angels, AND in fact they can sing like a real angel…
Josh Madine and Libera boys on Japanese TV
After that, they will come back down to the earth and act like boys being boys....

Speaking of singing, I’m not sure if they sing Sanctus live…or they just dub…or they sing along with the playback. What do you think? In my opinion, maybe they indeed sang it live but to get better sound, the TV guys layered it with the recording one. Well, just my opinion. I still love it, of course. :)

If only I knew Japanese, but I think the commentator sounds curious when she sees the boys wearing the jacket backwards. FYI, it is to keep them warm and avoid the bad effect to the voice, also keep them from spilling something on their white robes. They've ever mentioned it here.

Anddd the video ends too fast, too soon. I’m in shocked! But they chose the right moment as the perfect ending: The cheekiness of Isaac (of course, him again! Haha). This time he is picking on Kavana who is in the middle of interview with hands and everything. Hahaha..so hilarious! He's the cheeky one like Kavana said. I also just can’t stop smiling ear-to-ear and awww-ing because Isaac keeps looking at camera with his innocent look and plastering that smile on his little face. OMG...I love this cheeky lad. Isaac, you’re the star.

Libera On Japanese TV

9 Jul 2012

Libera will be appearing on Japanese TV called TV Asahi. The show will be aired on 15th July 2012, at 9.00 - 10.54 pm. Overall the show is about a trip to London. They visit many famous places/sites in there. Also they visit Libera AND there's a scene where Libera is practising. COOL!

Source: BS Asahi

The detail about the show can be found on http://www.bs-asahi.co.jp/thames/content.html. But, it's in Japanese. Well, mystery is solved! Yeah, mystery about the Japanese TV show Kavana tweeted about last month. So, this is it. I can't wait to see it. Is there any chance we can see it online? Hopefully there's somebody outside there will record it and upload it on Youtube.

p.s.: Thanks to Yuki who informed us this exciting news.

Libera On NTV

12 Apr 2012

As you may heard, Libera have safely arrived in Japan. They appeared on a morning show called Sukkiri, NTV (Japanese TV) this morning. There are 10 boys there. They are Ralph, Stefan, Eoghan, Matthew J, Cassius, Barney, Michael UR, Dylan, Tom and Ciaran. They sang full 'Song of Life' with Ralph on solo parts and did a short interview. It's funny they used a signed CD for promotion. Hehe. Below is some screen caps from the TV show. You can see the rest here. Thanks to Patrick for the pictures. The video is up on Youtube now, see the link down below.
Song Of Life
Interview

Tomorrow is Libera's first concert in Japan for Angel Voices Tour 2012. I hope everyone would enjoy it. They were so great in Singapore. Definitely they would be doing another great job in Japan as well. Ahhh, how I miss them already.

Singapore Interviews

5 Apr 2012

I'm so happy because I can hear and watch Libera interviews this morning. That is such a lovely way to start a day, eventhough I have to wake up early. It's really made my day.

Symphony 92.4FM
So, the first interview was on Symphony 92.4FM. Before the interview, they played Libera for a start. That's good choice to introduce Libera. My heart skipped a bit when I hear "Liberaaaa..." played in the radio. I got so much excited and felt so proud of our boys. I was like "Hey Singapore, Libera is here ready to mesmerize you with their angelic voice".

Then, the host introduced Barney, Kavana, and Jude as Libera boys. First impression: OH-MY-JOSH! Kavana's voice is soooo low now. Wow! You are surprising us, young man. So, you're the row-back boys now, eh?

We all knew about the member list which you can check it out here. It was shocking, to be honest. Because there is no usual older boys. From this interview, it's confirmed that they are not coming. Their place will be replaced by some new mini boys. So that's they have new arrangement to songs for the newbies. Look forward to discover new talents in Libera! They also revealed that Dies Irae and Orinoco Flow will be on set list. Yoohoo! Excited! :D

Then, "In Paradisum" has ended the interview which I believe can attract people who's listening at the time. Oops, I almost forget to give you the link to the interview recoding this morning. Don't worry you can still hear it HERE. Thanks Jimmy Riddle.

AMLive
Then 50 minutes later, the boys were having another interview. Busy schedule, hah? Hehe. This time was a TV interview. Kavana, Ralph (with new hair-cut), Isaac, and Cassius were interviewed by the host. It was sooo cute when Isaac said his age asked by the host. So innocent.

Overall, the topic is kinda the same. Again, they have confirmed that the older boys stay at home because they have to study for exams. We'll surely miss you guys during this tour. Good luck and do the best for the exam. In other words, it makes Stefan as the oldest one among the boys on the tour.

This is interesting. They also talked about their individual voice for going high or low. Ralph can sing low, but still be able to hit the high notes. Kavana is now singing the lowest part. Very deep. Since Isaac is only nine, he get the higher. What about Cassius? He is mid-range voice.

At the end, they've got a challenge to create and sing music. The host and Ralph and the others added the rhythm while Kavana made a rap song about laptop. Haha. That is so HILARIOUS. You must see it! Watch the interview HERE
Host 1, Kavana, Cassius, Ralph, Isaac, Host 2

**************

To end my blog today, I want to say don't be so sad and disappointed if you can't see your favorite one(s) on the list. I feel kinda sad too. Try to bring this in your mind that change is a common thing in Libera. You can be sad, but don't make them feel 'burdened'. We have to move on. They also have to move on. Say 'goodbye' to those who left, and 'hello' to the newbies. Just keep enjoying their music. Libera is still Libera, after all. :)

How Shall I Sing That Majesty - Songs of Praise

2 Apr 2012

As I informed you before in my earlier post, today (April 1, 2012) Libera's video "How Shall I Sing That Majesty" was featuring on "Songs of Praise" BBC one for Palm Sunday edition. Ah, too bad is not a full version video. But, it's okay. We still can enjoy it. Stefan got the solo part, and it seems he and Eoghan sang along "Thou art a sea...." part. All the boys were really great in the video like always. That is such a beautiful video. I always love this song. The ending always gives me goosebumps. All I can say is GREAT JOB!

The video has filmed at All Saints church the same as in Still, Still, Still video. The boys were just the same too. We all know they have filmed both videos at the same time. So, that's it. Ah, to be honest, still hoping to see the full version of each video. But, oh well. :)

A massive thank you to for recording and uploading it on Youtube faster than anyone else. But, I'm still waiting for the official one from Libera. For now enjoy this video, guys! :)

A few snapshots from the video:

And this is the official video uploaded by Libera.
