Official Website's New Look

30 Mar 2011

It's about 18 hours ago, Libera launched their Official Website's new look. Ah, I am SUPER like it. How refresh to see different colors in there. Here is the new layout:
So, what else is new?
We can see at Home page, Libera added some applications that enables us to see updates from Facebook, Liblog, Twitter, and Youtube. How nice, right? Besides, they also added News and Events on it so we firstly see the updates when open the website. Other than that it remained the same as before, only had a little upgrade and touch up to look more attractive. But, I REALLY appreciated their work to make something different like this. And of course I love it. This is much better than the old one. GREAT JOB, guys! Keep up the good work!
They also have new collection of pictures in their Gallery menu. Here are some my favorite pictures. You absolutely would love it! To see the rest of album. Click the link above.
That's definitely a beautiful single picture of an Angel.
(Auw, Mini James!!)
I love the yellow-green lighting radiated the boys
One word: CUTE.
How beautiful reflection. Great shot! Clever!
Love love Madine always. More cute picture please!

New Song: Libera Featured in Movie

28 Mar 2011

Again Libera is working for a movie soundtrack. The movie is The Great Miracle (El Gran Milagro), a 3D animated film directed by Bruce Morris of Disney fame, and tells the story of 3 characters who are facing differing life struggles, and end up in a Cathedral to attend daily Catholic Mass.
The soundtracks can be found on a digital format album that has the same title with the movie. The funny thing is this album has released on February 14, 2011, and we just found that now. But, the movie will be released in October 2011. Libera was featured in 4 songs, but they have a large portion in Benedictus Deus. The others are  "Offerings", "I Miss You", and "Ultimate Love". These beautiful songs are all composed by Mark McKenzie. McKenzie is one of the most underrated film composers, probably the most underrated, generally writing very beautiful, lyrical orchestral music but capable of action, suspense, whatever.
Here are some reviews for the album (Click on the title for the complete review):

The London Libera Boy’s Choir conducted by Robert Prizeman enters the fray in the astonishing “Benedictus Deus”, which grows from a solo boy soprano to a duet to the full choir and orchestra over the course of a mere 97 stunning seconds. Later, their angelic cooing gives the triumphant and turbulent “Offerings” and the first half of the bold and vivid “I Miss You” a sense of majesty and grandeur, while their more emotionally charged and tragic vocal performances during “Ultimate Love” provides one of the score’s darkest moments of poignancy.

The London's Libera Boys choir plays a large role in heightening the already liturgical quality of the story. And Mckenzie uses it so magical that you'll receive goosebumps during them. The choral song (and orchestral back up) in "Benedictus Deus" is simply magical, whilst forming a magical unison with the strings in "Offering", another McKenzie career highlight. Here the choir is actually singing in the magical presentation many Ennio Morricone scores delivered us during the years (including Marco Polo and The Mission).

The emotionally charged music is actually the music of the track "Offering" without the choir behind it, and shows immediately another meaning when the love theme on piano and a lovely main theme make it transform from a pompous opening to an emotional sign of love. That testament arrives when love conquers all in "Ultimate Love", showing off with the love theme in full romantic color.

You can purchase it (and/or hear the samples) from Amazon, iTunes, emusic, 7digital or another stores. Here  below is a sample for one of the songs. The boys can be heard from 10:50.

Thank you for Jimmy Riddle and Fan de LoK from Libera Dreams Forum.

Someone has uploaded a video contain Benedictus Deus and Ascension/Gloria Patri. Wow, beautiful song. I think it's Stefan got the solo part in Benedictus Deus. His voice is magnificent. Enjoy :)

Post-Concert Video

24 Mar 2011

Thank you to FliegenerTeppich, a Germany fan, who posted this video. It taken post Epsom concert. This is very nice. First thing I spot is Tom Cully walked down and smiled or something like that. Oh, how I miss him. Miss his wonderful treble voice. But, at least I'm glad he is still in Libera for assisting at the back stage. And then we could Daniel, Stefan, and Ralph were patiently facing fans, such as photographing, autographing, talking, etc. And then, Mini Ben whose big-warm smile in his face. Ah, such a gentleman. I always admires the way he smile, talk to fan. Love you, Mini Ben. This video ends with Liam (talking, and doing something I don't know, then the bus left.

21 Mar 2011

CONGRATULATION!
Oh My Josh, you did it. Well done, lad! Congratulation! And thank you guys for voting for Josh in the AFTI Media Boy Poll 2010. Oh, dear, you deserve it, Josh. With your sweet-dreamy voice and smiley face, you made many fans fall for you. LOL. The poll ended on March 12, just 6 days after the Epsom concert! Right, Josh placed 9th with 19 points. Ah, proud of you!

The AFTI 2010 Result
Josh's competitors are the talented boys from the whole world, like Greyson Chance, Justin Bieber, etc. It was surprising that he could get the top 10 position. FYI, Josh has ever placed the 99th in 2007, and disappeared, then back in 2010 and won.

The AFTI 2007 Result
Anyhow, we got the other members' names in this list result, they are: Ben Philipp (33), Kavana Crossley (39), Liam Connery (44), Tom Cully (60), Henry Barrington (73), Ralph Skan (73), Jonathan Barrington (88), Sam Leggett (88) and Jakob De Menezes-Wood (108).

Sample of "Song of Life"

9 Mar 2011

Well, first of all, I would like to say thanks to Teyko from Libera Dreams Fanforum. So, EMI Music Japan has put a sample of the track at the website. Hmmm, though it's really short,  but I could heard Ralph's voice. I think his voice has been changed, it's more mature and absolutely beautiful. Oh, I really really can't wait for listening to the rest of song. Hmm...such a pretty song, I think this song will become one of my favourites.

Click the link below to hear the song.

Or visit this channel:

The lyrics

There’s a whisper in the dark
As a new life comes to be.
Then a song begins to form
As it finds the harmony
With a chorus of sound
Of the world all around
Now it blends in the tune
Joining the endless song of life

We shall never be alone
As we link our hearts in one
Joining voices from above,
All in the miracle of life,
Through the ages we will grow
Only time will ever know,
As our voices magnify,
All in the miracle of life.

Love plays along in our lives yet to come
As we join the song of life.

Now the music starts to build
As the words begin to rhyme
Then another lends a tune
As their voices now combine
With the chorus of sound
Of the world all around
Now they blend their tune
Sharing the endless song of life

We shall never be alone
As we link our hearts in one
Joining voices from above,
All the miracle of life,
Through the ages we will grow
Only time will ever know,
As our voices magnify,
All in the miracle of life.

Love plays along in our lives yet to come
As we join in the song of life.

Take A Break

1 Mar 2011

Okay, guys. So, I made up my mind. I want to tell you that I will break up with this blog. No, it does not mean that I'll end up this blog.  I love the blog so much. I can't live without it (LOL, joke!). Just need a break while. Now I want to focus on college. Actually I only need few weeks to make it. But, I'll be missing so much my blogging activity here.

That's soooo hard to me for stopping it, even for while. It's already my daily  life activity. Moreover, Libera has something new that I always waits. for all those time. So, I believe there is must be news or information from Libera officially in the next week maybe or at time around it. Maybe if there's an ALERT or URGENT news I'll post it on my blog. Of course IF I have time. *sigh
But, right now I reaaaally need time to deal with my college stuff. When I'm done with it, I'll be right back ASAP. Gonna miss you, blog! Anyway, Happy New Month. Welcome March. Hope I'll be better!
